Cloud Architect
3 months contract with view for extension
Daily rate: €700
Location: remote anywhere in Ireland

We have an incredible opportunity for a transformational Cloud Architect to join the launch team of a greenfield mobile virtual network operator. The successful candidate will develop a cloud-based infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals, design the technical infrastructure architecture, and oversee implementation.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a hybrid cloud strategy and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cloud providers and stakeholders to finalize requirements and roadmaps.

• Oversee infrastructure build-out, ensuring compliance with designs.

• Implement tools for monitoring and managing the infrastructure.

• Ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years in cloud architecture and infrastructure roles.

• Telecom industry experience is a plus.

• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong networking, cybersecurity, and Scripting skills.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Expectations:

• Month 1: Define technology imperatives, draft cloud strategy and architecture.

• Month 2: Finalize strategy, architecture, and requirements.

• Month 3: Complete and test infrastructure buildout, finalize policies and documentation.
