We are looking for an SC Cleared Technical Architect to join one of our public sector clients. The project is a data migration exercise that will ultimately migrate a large volume of unstructured data from an on premises (Azure) NetApp file service to SharePoint Online.   • Length: 12 months
  • Rate: up to £700 per day
  • Ir35 status: Inside ir35
  • Location: National, Hybrid Working - ability to travel to London Office and occasional site visits may be required
  • Must have Active SC Clearance

As a Senior Technical Architect you will have:

  • Technical Expertise - Extensive experience in SharePoint Online development and administration including a deep understanding of its architecture and capabilities. Strong understanding of native information protection technologies across Microsoft 365. Proficiency in on-premises storage technologies such as NetApp.
  • Data Migration Experience - Demonstrated experience in planning and executing large-scale data migrations, including data assessment and development of migration strategies. Ability to design target data architectures that are scalable and aligned to the organisational needs
  • Change Management and User Adoption - Proven track record in managing change and user adoption initiatives, particularly in transitioning from on-premises file services to modern cloud-native collaboration platforms.
  • Data Security and Compliance - In-depth knowledge of data security best practices, access control and compliance requirements required in a Government organisation handling data classified as OFFICIAL. Experience in preserving organisational data structure and policies during a migration project.
