A groundbreaking FinTech startup, backed by industry titans who are revolutionizing digital asset security for institutional investors, are looking for a Lead Security Engineer to look after their Azure infrastructure from a security perspective.

As the Lead Security Engineer, you will be have a substantial effect on the organization as they are building the future of secure crypto trading, so as you can imagine, security is at the heart of everything they do! This is a new role within the company as they are currently going through a large digital transformation and are rapidly growing, so you will be building the security engineering function from the ground up and potentially building a team around you in the future.

What will the Lead Security Engineer be doing?

• You will be the Azure Security expert: Setting up, configuring and updating the Azure suite of tools including InTune, Azure Key Vault, Defender, email security, sharepoint security etc
• Embrace a zero-trust approach: Patch management, emerging security trends? You'll be a master, integrating cutting-edge tools like Zscaler and CrowdStrike to create an impregnable fortress.
• Hunt down vulnerabilities: You will be identifying and prioritizing threats before they can strike
• Shape our security future: You'll play a vital role in designing and implementing new security controls, constantly evolving our defenses.
• Collaborate like a pro: Working seamlessly across teams, you'll be the voice of security, ensuring everyone understands the importance of an iron-clad security posture.

The ideal Lead Security Engineer will have experience with the following:

• We need a minimum of 2 years as a Security Engineer, with a proven track record in most areas mentioned above.
• You're an Azure security champion, particularly its security suite.
• A good understanding of Security Operations
• You're a fast learner, passionate about emerging security trends.
• Experience with security tools like SIEM, IDPS, Cloud Security, and EDR is a big plus.
• Experience with Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or Qualys
• Web3 and DeFi
• Experience with ISO27001 and SOC2
