Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP QM/PP Consultant to join our clients team in the Pharmaceutical & life sciences sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing SAP QM and PP modules to ensure efficient production planning and stringent quality management. This role requires a deep understanding of life sciences industry regulations, GMP, and related compliance requirements.

Start Date 2-4 weeks
New S4 Hana project
Remote working -with some onsite client visits in Sweden, Denmark & Norway.
12-24 months contract

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP QM Implementation and Management:
   • Design, configure, and implement SAP QM processes including quality planning, quality inspection, quality control, and quality certificates.
   • Develop inspection plans, sampling procedures, and test equipment management.
   • Manage quality notifications, CAPA processes, and audit management.
2. SAP PP Implementation and Management:
   • Design, configure, and implement SAP PP processes including production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity planning.
   • Oversee shop floor control, work orders, and process orders.
   • Integrate production execution with QM for in-process inspections.
3. Integration and Compliance:
   • Ensure seamless integration of SAP QM and PP modules with other SAP modules (eg, MM, SD).
   • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA, EMA, and GMP.
   • Develop and manage electronic batch records and validation processes.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Analyze production and quality data to identify areas for improvement.
   • Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
   • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP QM/PP functionalities.
5. Project Management:
   • Lead and manage SAP QM/PP implementation and upgrade projects.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, production, and quality assurance.
   • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP QM and PP modules.
• Proven experience in the life sciences industry with a strong understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Certification in SAP QM and/or PP is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing the application life cycle.
• Good knowledge of QM Master Data, Inspection Plan Set Up, Usage Decisions, Results recording.
• Good knowledge QM Notifications and defect management
• Good experience in handling interfaces with non-SAP applications. Understanding of SAP technologies including but not limited to EDI, File transfer, API, etc.
• Cross-functional experience in MM, SD & PP to understand the configuration setup & data processing
• Exposure to batch management, quality management processes
• Experience in working with EWM Module for Quality Integration.
• Must be able to lead large and complex global project requirements working closely with variety of business and IT groups.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Must be a good team player with proven skills in collaboration with large and global cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to convert business requirements into functional specification, technical specifications
• Preparation of training documents and user manuals
• Experience in data migration support for QM Module
